Karolyn + Alex {Wedding Day} California Wedding Photographer

This was the first time I have ever been rained out from a wedding! We met Karolyn & Alex early before they went in for their sealing at the New Port Beach Temple in California but it was raining! This was also the first wedding where I made a complete fool of myself by going to take the first step down those slick steps and slipped on my behind... just after telling Ryan Southwell from IRIS AND LIGHT what a big fan I am... nice huh!!! I can laugh about it now... now that my poor tailbone has recovered!! But while taking these first few pictures it was all I could do to keep from bawling like a baby. Luckily they were the sweetest couple and put up with the rain and the injuries :) We decided to meet again at the temple a couple days later when the weather had cleared up (that post coming up next!)... in the mean time we were still able to get some killer shots! And they had an amazing reception for their family and friends! Congrats again you two!



I love that they had a children's room for all the nieces and nephews at the reception! Each girl had a matching doll of her own and each boy and toy just for him! Not mention tons of activities to keep the busy and sweets to keep them happy :)
