Well I have done plenty of engagement sessions in my time... but I was so excited to be asked to photograph the ENGAGEMENT itself. Chris called me the night before he was going to pop the question!! He had planned it all out but thought documenting the whole thing would be icing on the cake! I was already planning on having a consultation with them later that afternoon, so I said "HECK YA" and the rest was history!
The proposal took place after Kim (who is an avid runner) was a part of a 5K run for CAPSA. Because it was raining that morning she almost didn't go, but due to Chris practically insisting she would regret it if she didn't, she ran! Little did she know that someone special would be waiting at the finish line on bended knee...
Kim was so focused on her run that she didn't notice the signs Chris had put up for the last stretch of the race. So we went back to see them!
And of course she said "YES"!!
