MarGee & Brady {Engagements + Formals + Wedding Day} Utah Wedding Photographer

Looking back at this wedding is making me miss warmer temperatures for sure! It also makes me miss getting to hang out with these two on a regular basis!! MarGee and Brady are such a loving couple and made my job so easy. MarGee is always the first one to tell anyone she knows about us and I love her for it. Here's a peek at all the fun we had together from engagements to their wedding day.

P.S. I shot their wedding 5 days after having Finley and they were the most wonderful couple/family to do that for. They were so kind and thoughtful I am so grateful I got to be there for it all!

2013- Looking back at one amazing year!

What better way to ring in the new year then to look back at some of my favorite moments captured in 2013! Some are tender and sweet and some are down right hilarious! I am forever grateful for this career of mine that allows me to meet the most incredible people and be there for some of the most important days of their life's! Thank you so much to all my clients, family and friends for your continued support. Without you none of this would be possible! Here's to another awesome year in 2014!!!

Now I know there is A LOT but I just had so much fun this past year I wanted to share it all while I was at it. So snuggle up in a warm blanket and enjoy!

Today we had the pleasure of showing off one of our birth stories from last month. Little Zachary, born on March 5th, is such a cutie and sooo loved by his three older sisters! Julia + Zac {Wedding Day} Utah/Chicago Wedding Photographer

This wedding was one of my all time favorites. Julia and Zac are so sweet together! Even though we did run into some rainy weather while shooting downtown, I wouldn't have changed a second of it! There's something truely romantic about the city, the rain and these two. Their backyard reception was something straight out of a magazine... in fact they were featured in one!! I am so excited to finally show off this lovely couple. They have such a easy way together, you can just tell loving each is like breathing to them. The location is one of my favorites. Phil + Juline {Wedding Day} Utah/Connecticut Wedding Photographer

Hello. Its been a while since I have really sat down to do a real post on this poor blog and its LONG over due! The nice thing about January is the feeling of starting over or catching up in this instance. I had so many wonderful weddings over the course of last year that I am dying to show you. This one is no exception! 

Phil and I have been friends for over 12 years now. We met while living over in Germany as military brats. I was so honored when he and Juline booked me to capture their big day!! It was nothing short of amazing! They have so many friends and family that came from far and wide to be there to witness their union. They are such a stunning couple together and they really have such a genuine love.

Kylee + Rodney {Couple Session} Chicago/Utah Wedding Photographer

Every time I get these two in front of my camera its magic! I can't believe its been almost its been almost 3 years since these crazy kids got married and flew me out to the amazing city of Chicago! On my last trip back we met up downtown and decided to take a totally different approach then we did with their formals from before. This time instead of hitting all the major attractions or tourist places, we just wandered the city they have lived in and loved. It was just what I needed. I love how comfortable and easy their love feels through these images. And I can't wait for the next time... maybe in San Fran this time guys?! ;)

I have known Brandi since seminary in High School! They have since moved out of town, but wanted to make sure to get family pictures taken before they left. It was such a nice day and Kambrie is such a sweetie!



The {Price} Family

These boys are lucky to have such an amazing and patient mommy... who is expecting baby boy #4!!! I love the ice cream at the end too!



The {Michaelson} Family

You may know these guys if you've ever been to The Riter Mansion here in Logan!! They are one of my favorite families and it was great to finally get Arlette the family pictures she'd been wanting for years. Plus, with little Olivia now in the mix it was a must!



The {Jensen} Family

Just a quick mini shoot up at USU with this cute family of 3! Tatum was shy at first, but when she warmed up to me she was a little spitfire!



The {Poole} Family

Having two beautiful children just 15 months apart is not for the weak, that's for sure! But this sweet family was great to work with yet again.



The {Walker} Family

This past October I went back to Chicago for some of my favorite families out there and some new ones too! It was great catching up and see how big the kids had gotten in a year. I love this little tradition we've started!! Even though her husband was out of town, Melissa took the opportunity to get some mommy and me shots of her and the kids. Its so important to capture that, since mom is usually BEHIND the camera taking the pictures. We had a blast! :)



The {Smith} Family

This was my first time meeting the Smith's out in Chicago and I hope it won't be the last! It was so fun to see these big kids just LOVE that baby sister!



The {Paul} Family

Oh I just LOVE the Paul's! They were my gracious hosts this time around and it was so great getting to know them more! I had so much fun finding fun new locations with Michelle and taking pictures of their model family! Seriously her kids are so cute!



The {Hansen} Family

I know I must sound like I am on repeat if I say I LOVE this family too... but I DO! Of course being that they are my family that helps ;) This is my amazing aunt and uncle and their adorable three kids. I have been taking pictures of these guys since day one and its always a fun time! The kids were so good and we got some really great ones!



The {Harris} Family

SIX KIDS! Whew... did I have my work cut out for me on this one! God bless these parents! I think we all survived and came out with some real winners :)



The {Nolan} Family

I have lost track on the number of sessions I have done with these guys, but I don't mind one bit! I love that with each addition and each year I get another chance to capture this gorgeous family! :)

I was so excited to fly out to California after my new little nephew Deacon was born and take a million pictures of this new little family. What a stud muffin! Not to mention his parents... talk about good genes!






The {Dixon} Family

When your bestie is in town, getting family pictures done is top priority! :) It was so fun finally meeting cute little Karston and seeing the girls! We had the time of our lives taking these and Britt was so happy with how they turned out! It pays to have great friends ;) hehe

While in town for her sister's wedding we made time for a mini session! With toddler, you have to be on your toes to keep up with them... but it turns into some super cute candids!

My sister Ashley needed new pictures for Christmas cards so we did a fast shoot out in the snow! Payton was so cute... I just love that baby girl! :)

I am sure you will recognize this adorable family from my post about their adoption story!! Well in December they were sealed as an eternal family and I was so honored to be there to witness it! That Penny has so much personality and you can tell they just adore that baby girl. It was fun to document the next chapter of this amazing story!
