Blocks.

Today after Finley woke up from her nap she was in such a fun mood. She is quite the little character! One of her favorite things to play with are these old wood blocks. Its fun to watch her stack them and turn them over to look at all the sides. I am trying to make a point of relishing in these little moments with my kids. Time is so fleeting and they are growing too quickly. I wanted to remember her cute pigtails and her chubby hands... how much she loves to look out the window and play peek-a-boo. I also want to document more of the everyday and share it on here from time to time.

A little announcement....

Some of you may have noticed some changes around here... the blog is getting a new look and I LOVE it! Its simple and fresh and exactly what I wanted!! Thank you thank you to Kelley Howe who is such an amazing friend and blog designer for working so many hours on it with me over this past weekend. I still have a few more things to do with it but its a million times better!

And my blog isn't the only thing changing around here... so is my waistline!! That's right folks, baby #4 is a cookin' and we couldn't be more excited! In fact, our other cute kiddos wanted to make their own little announcement on here...



yep ANOTHER GIRL!!! Brayden was hoping for a brother...



and Avery isn't too keen on giving up the title of baby around here...



(just kidding... she only got mad because we took the chalk away! haha)

But really with girls as cute as this and such an AWESOME big brother...



we couldn't be more thrilled! We can't wait to meet you little girl!

Deacon {Newborn} Utah Newborn Photographer

Here is my new sweet little nephew Deacon! I am sooooo happy to be out here in California for 8 whole days to help my little sis, snuggle this cutie and take a million pictures of him along the way! I can't believe he is already a week old today. Time goes by so fast at this stage and I am trying to capture every tiny detail for Chelsey and Josh to treasure forever!

Here's a few I got of him the first day. They are so simple, but I love that about them! He loves to be swaddled and I just love the look on his face in this first one... it looks like a little smirk.

The rest of these we took today... we just did one set up but I think we got some good ones! We are planning a few more looks for while I am here, but I couldn't wait to post these! Proud Auntie B here :)

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Fall is by far my favorite season! I love the crisp air, changing leaves and the many forms of pumpkins... carved or cookies! Not to mention all the fun festivities to be had during the month of October. But if you ask my kids they just can't wait for HALLOWEEN! I can't even begin to count how many times they have asked me "how many more days til Halloween mom?" Well the day has finally arrived and my kids are just dying to put on those costumes and get some candy :)
But first, what kind of photog mom would I be without a mini session of them all dressed up. Of course like always the girls' had a 2 second attention span for me so I got what I could. Brayden on the other hand is always up for a little photo shot with his mom.
I love these three so much and we have so much fun!

Brayden {The RED Power Ranger}
Thanks to Netflix he is practically an expert on everything Power Ranger. He could probably tell you the Zorg of each Ranger on every show (trust me I know). Boys ;) But I have to admit he has mad skills with those kicks!



Riley {The Butterfly}
Always the girly one, I was not surprised that she picked to be a butterfly. She loves using her butterfly charms on any handmade necklaces she makes for me :)



Avery {The Strawberry}
Sometimes super sweet, sometimes a little to tart... yep! That about sums up this little cutie/stinker!



Its also a tradition in our family to go to the Pumpkin Walk :)
