These two were so incredibly sweet together! When I met with Jane and her mom I knew right away that she was my kind of bride. Pictures were very important to her and I am so pleased with everything we got from beginning to end! Looking back at this wedding is making me miss warmer temperatures for sure! It also makes me miss getting to hang out with these two on a regular basis!! MarGee and Brady are such a loving couple and made my job so easy. MarGee is always the first one to tell anyone she knows about us and I love her for it. Here's a peek at all the fun we had together from engagements to their wedding day.

P.S. I shot their wedding 5 days after having Finley and they were the most wonderful couple/family to do that for. They were so kind and thoughtful I am so grateful I got to be there for it all!

2013- Looking back at one amazing year!

What better way to ring in the new year then to look back at some of my favorite moments captured in 2013! Some are tender and sweet and some are down right hilarious! I am forever grateful for this career of mine that allows me to meet the most incredible people and be there for some of the most important days of their life's! Thank you so much to all my clients, family and friends for your continued support. Without you none of this would be possible! Here's to another awesome year in 2014!!!

Now I know there is A LOT but I just had so much fun this past year I wanted to share it all while I was at it. So snuggle up in a warm blanket and enjoy!

Caroline + Grady {Engagement + Formal + Wedding Day} Utah Wedding Photographer

These two. I just can't say enough amazing things about them!! You may remember them from my inspiration shoot a while back with ONE DRESS THREE WAYS. They were the MOD couple! When they get engaged I was over the moon when they called me to be their photographer. I loved any chance to get them in front of my camera again!

Caroline was my nanny last summer and totally saved my life during my busy season. It was such a great way to get to know her and Grady more! Their wedding was so timeless and beautiful! Caroline has such great taste and it resonates in every detail. 

Now she is a high school teacher, they just bought their first house and have a cute little puppy named Rosie. Married life if great :)

Kourtnee + Brandon {Engagement + Formal + Wedding Day} Utah Wedding Photographer

Hey blog world! Its been far too long!! I don't know about you, but this year is just FLYING by for me. I know I do this type of post too often, but I can't help but share a little of everything with my couples. 

Kourtnee and Brandon were a dream to work with. So fun and charismatic. We clicked instantly and the result was some of my favorite stuff to date! Not to mention that I have gained two amazing friends in the process! I have loved meeting Kourtnee for lunch dates and catching up.What a lucky gal am I to do what I do for a living?! Julia + Zac {Wedding Day} Utah/Chicago Wedding Photographer

This wedding was one of my all time favorites. Julia and Zac are so sweet together! Even though we did run into some rainy weather while shooting downtown, I wouldn't have changed a second of it! There's something truely romantic about the city, the rain and these two. Their backyard reception was something straight out of a magazine... in fact they were featured in one!! Phil + Juline {Wedding Day} Utah/Connecticut Wedding Photographer

Hello. Its been a while since I have really sat down to do a real post on this poor blog and its LONG over due! The nice thing about January is the feeling of starting over or catching up in this instance. I had so many wonderful weddings over the course of last year that I am dying to show you. This one is no exception! 

Phil and I have been friends for over 12 years now. We met while living over in Germany as military brats. I was so honored when he and Juline booked me to capture their big day!! It was nothing short of amazing! They have so many friends and family that came from far and wide to be there to witness their union. They are such a stunning couple together and they really have such a genuine love.

Its always a great day when UBB picks up one of your formal sessions!!! They also featured Kourtnee and Brandon's engagement session so I had to submit the next line up for these two. I had a lot of fun with these two and like always they were up for whatever ideas I had in mind for their shoot! I had never seen that yellow sculpture before that night and we just stumbled upon it... fate! The yellow and Kourtnee's modern style made it a perfect fit. Karisa + Travis {Engagement + Wedding Day} Utah/California Wedding Photographer

Can you feel it? Fall is just around the corner... and I can hardly wait for the changing of the season, cute boots and sweaters! I'm also very excited because fall means I am having this baby soon!! 4 weeks and counting. I am huge and in full blown waddle mode now, but lucky for me still pluggin along.
With football season in full swing I thought it would be fun to share these cute engagements and wedding. Karisa and Travis are such a cute couple! So sweet and loving. It was last fall we took their engagements... Travis plays for USU football so we had full access :) And who doesn't love a gorgeous spring wedding on the beach in San Diego?! I just loved her dress and bouquet. It was her dream to get married in the San Diego Temple and so a small group of their family and friends came out to witness the happy occasion. It was so laid back and wonderful. I wish them all the happiness in the world!! Also huge thank you to my girl Lauren for coming along and being my amazing second shooter. She got some stunning shots!
