Meet Brooke and Gabe!
I have been so excited to share their story that has been months in the making! Back in September, this cute couple from my ward contacted me. It was a bitter sweet conversation. They had just received information that the baby they had been hoping for and working toward adopting had fallen through. The country had decided to close all adoptions to the U.S. It was then that they decided to move forward and try adopting through LDS Family Services. So they asked me to take some new pictures for their profile and I was happy to do it! Even though it had been an emotional week, they were so fun together and really made for a great shoot.
After spending just one afternoon with them, I was crossing my fingers and saying my prayers that they would be blessed to have the baby they wanted to badly! I couldn't think of two people that deserved happiness like that more then them! I also found out later that they had started the business THE CREPERY to raise money to adopt their baby, so when it came time for new pictures for their business I was happy they called me again!! They are AMAZING! Gabe studied abroad in France and the crepes made in their store are a genuine recipe like you would find on the streets of Paris (which I have had so I know what I am talking about)! I love them so much I asked them to just pay me in crepes for these pictures... you can see why!
Imagine my excitement... or better yet, THEIR excitement to receive that blessed call on Nov. 22nd that they indeed were getting the baby of their dreams!!
And she was born on VALENTINE'S DAY! What better way to celebrate the day of love :)
So now meet...
Penelope Lee Anderson
8 lbs. and 20 in. of cuteness
They call her Penny :)
Me and Brooke had to laugh at this one... she's already sassy like her mama! ;) haha
And here they are! :) One happy family that I love so much!
